It is also of great importance to mention the monastery of Saint Marena dating back to the XIX century, its dwellings have been reconstructed after the 1990s. Every 30th of July there is a pilgrimage, in this place, from a lot of tourists from different countries. This monastery can be reached not only by boat but also on foot from the Juniperus (Venja) Forest Path. The Venja forests, surrounding this area continuing until the village of Tuminec, are a biotic monument and possess didactic and ecological values. Precisely form their resin the incense is produced.
