Saint Mary“Glluboko”(Tuminec; Culture Monument)

From the Bllashtojna cave, continuing the journey alongside the western part of the lake, the tourist has the possibility to choose whether to stop and rest in Glloboçen village, or to continue the journey north for about 40 minutes, near the border with North Macedonia, where the hermit church in the cave of Saint Mary Glluboko (Bogorodica) can be found in the vicinity of Tuminec village. This church, a cultural monument of the XIII century, is the attraction of the northern part of the area surrounded by magnificent landscape, and is prominent for the Byzantium iconographic style of the frescos.
